UCAN is thrilled to announce it has now completed its 47,000th spay/neuter surgery since the opening of the clinic in April 2007.  UCAN has made great strides in achieving its mission by preventing hundreds of thousands of unwanted animals from being born and burdening the area's already-overcrowded shelters and rescue groups, not to mention the number of homeless animals and euthanasias prevented.

The lucky animal was Kahlua, a beautiful Lab/Greyhound that came in on UCAN's free transport from the League for Animal Welfare in Batavia, Ohio.   To ensure that everyone has access to its low-cost spay/neuter services, UCAN provides free transport from several locations in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
